The Laboratory for geomechanical testing “Geing Kuk” is a legal formal independent unit within the company “Geing Krebs und Kifer International and oth”. Ltd, founded in 1994 with a main activity in geotechnical engineering. For its purposes, in 1999 was founded the Laboratory for geomechanical tests, as a part of the company. Its legal formal independence, the Laboratory “GEING KuK” acquired in march 2010 for doing professional jobs in the area of geomechanical tests respecting the positive legal regulation, EU standards and norms for this type of tests, and the international standards for quality management ISO 9001:2008 and environment ISO 14001:2004. The Laboratory for geomechanical tests has adequate equipment for performing specialized tests of soil materials for determination of the physical-mechanical and deformation characteristics, and field controlling geomechanical laboratories. Within the Laboratory for geomechanical test, exists laboratory for concrete control, Abramsov cone, molds for taking testing concrete cubes and sclerometar for undestrective tests of the concrete. In near future, the Laboratory “GEING KuK” shall be equipped with a laboratory for asphalt testing. The Laboratory “GEING KuK” has implemented the ISO 17025:2005 standard for general competence of laboratories for testings and/or calibrations and is in phase of its accreditation for geomechanical tests.
